Yes, that is the fantasy phrase that we, on occasion, all want to tell bad fit customers. If Hollywood could make an action movie about “that” customer – with mega explosions, studly car chase scenes, and bad guys getting their comeuppance- it would sell like hotcakes to the marketing, sales, and PR community. I know, it’s hard to confess, so I will say it. Some customers should jump off a cliff. Today. Now.
Sometimes we actually get proactive and nip those hard to please, problem magnet, slow paying, high maintenance customers in the bud. We tell them it’s not going to work out. We explain how we just don’t think we are both on the same page. We yada yada yada.
What it boils down to is simple – “GO AWAY!”
